We embrace an emergent curriculum method thus supporting the interests and needs of both the individual and the group.
Our seasonal workshop helps to prepare children for the world by offering them opportunities for persistence, determination, problem solving, frustration, discouragement, collaboration, and success.
We subscribe to the philosophy of encouraging children to use creative thinking, helping them to develop skills and self-sufficiency while providing the safe space from which they may do so.
Family
This nature-based, child-led opportunity is for home/unschool families. Parents stay and play. For all ages, baby to teen! We have many spaces to spread out and explore. Our mornings are loosely structured. Head towards the treehouse when you arrive for the days schedule.

Ages 4-11
We are heading to the Cumberland woods again this summer and are thrilled to welcome your little ones back for some adventures. We will be getting muddy, exploring deep, and resting in the sunlight. Following our curiosity, our travels will include two farms, wooded trail, small stream (pack your bathing suit!), frog pond, treehouses and craft-room. Feeling into the inspiration from nature (and our many recycled items), we will create to our hearts content!
